T2 at Dublin Airport

Transforming Dublin Airport is the name given by the Dublin Airport Authority to their investment programme which has been ongoing since 2006.

Kilsaran supplied 130,000m³ of Airport Specified Paving Quality Concrete to the aprons and taxiways over an 18 month period from mid-2007. 11,000m² of our Newgrange paving flags in an 80mm depth and in a 600mm x 400mm size has been used for the footpaths and pedestrian areas around T2.  These flags were laid on 500 tonnes of Kilsaran 3:1 Sand & Cement supplied in our Silomix^TM solution. Internally within T2, we supplied 5,500 tonnes of 4:1 Sand & Cement mix in silos for use as a bedding mix for the granite flag floors.
