Kilsaran are delighted to announce that they have become a fully accredited member of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan in association with Biodiversity Ireland.
We all depend on the important services provided by pollinating insects. Unfortunately our pollinators are in decline, and the problem is serious. Now we are asking businesses to follow our lead and join the #AllIrelandPollinatorPlan.
This is due to the ongoing works by our Head Gardener Graham and the team at our Showgardens in Dunboyne to ensure future pollinator-friendly practices, so we can see the build-up of pollinator resources in our gardens.
Our work in this area intends to mirror what can be achieved by homes and business throughout Ireland. Our Showgardens are free of charge, children friendly and one of the finest examples of biodiversity in the region – we openly encourage families and groups to visit.
