2024 has been a remarkable year for concrete supply in Ireland, with several noteworthy projects and milestones having been achieved across the country.
Dublin city centre saw the completion of two critical slipform core projects at Harcourt Square (John Paul Construction) & Grand Canal Quay (John Sisk & Son). Both projects were supplied concurrently from our South Bank Road Plant. Another two major projects in Dublin were Claremont in Howth supplying over 55,000m³ of concrete and Grand Canal Harbour supplying 33,000m³ of concrete.
Adman Civil oversaw two major wind farm projects in County Offaly, the Cushaling Wind Farm which had 10,596m³ of concrete supplied for nine turbine bases & Moanvane Wind Farm which had 11,400m³ of concrete delivered for 12 turbine bases.
At IDL Cork, in collaboration with Murphy International, over 10,000m³ of specialised piling concrete mixes were supplied for Irish Distillers Ltd by the end of 2024.
The Dublin Port Greenway project, executed by Wills Bros., featured specialised concrete mixes for exposed concrete walls with a striking board-mark finish.
