Kilsaran played a key role in delivering the Marshalls Yard development at East Road, Dublin, a major residential scheme in the North Docklands comprising 554 apartments across nine buildings. Faced with a fast-paced programme and a constrained city-centre site, the project required efficient construction methods, careful logistics, and minimal disruption.

Kilsaran provided a fully integrated solution across multiple business units. Their Precast team delivered a Cross-Wall system to accelerate construction and reduce risk, while over 30,500m³ of Ready-Mix Concrete was supplied using electric trucks to support sustainability goals. Additional materials included concrete blocks and trowel-ready mortar.

Further enhancing the development, KPRO delivered External Wall Insulation and streetscape elements, while award-winning ClimaGrid permeable paving improved drainage and environmental performance.

This coordinated approach ensured a high-quality, efficient delivery and reinforced Kilsaran’s strong partnership with Bennett Construction on complex, large-scale projects.

Kilsaran was appointed by Duggan Brothers to supply materials for St. Vincent’s Community Nursing Unit in Mountmellick, Co.Laois. The project focused on enhancing thermal performance and long term durability, with Kilsaran’s EWI system selected as the primary facede solution, delivering excellent insulation, weather protection and a clean, modern finish.

Kilsaran’s KPRO range supported façade, bonding and priming requirements, with Ceresit CT174 render in Phuket 6 and Nebraska 2 completing the external finish. Ready-mix concrete and high-quality concrete blocks were also supplied, providing a strong, durable structural foundation that met all modern construction standards.

Kilsaran was selected for the RCSI Education and Research Building due to our proven ability to deliver high‑performance concrete solutions for complex, design‑led projects. The brief demanded exceptional consistency, durability, and aesthetic quality—particularly for the exposed structural elements, sculptural columns, and polished floor finishes featured throughout the building.

Our ready‑mix concrete and concrete blocks were chosen for their reliability, structural strength, and suitability for precision‑formed architectural features. Kilsaran’s technical team worked closely with the project stakeholders to ensure each mix met the exact requirements for finish, workability, and long‑term performance. For signature elements such as the polished flooring on Level 2, Kilsaran developed a bespoke mix incorporating crushed gravel to achieve a clean, reflective, premium finish.

From stringent quality control to tailored mix design and on‑site technical support, Kilsaran’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship made us the trusted choice for a project where concrete plays a central architectural and structural role.

The Academic Hub at TU Dublin’s Grangegorman Campus is a landmark, light-filled building that integrates the protected North House and annex, with exposed concrete forming a key architectural feature. Benchmark concrete samples were poured in June 2022, with the design team agreeing to a consistent mix incorporating 30% GGBS cement replacement to ensure high-quality, uniform exposed concrete throughout the project.

Cushaling Wind Farm is a landmark renewable energy project delivered on challenging cutaway peat bog terrain, requiring precise engineering and careful logistics. Kilsaran supplied approximately 10,700 m³ of concrete for the turbine foundations, supporting nine Vestas turbines that generate clean power for tens of thousands of homes. The project achieved a verified 63% reduction in embodied carbon, setting a benchmark for sustainable infrastructure delivery.

Kilsaran was appointed by Walls Construction in early 2023 to supply concrete for Marlet Property Group’s seaside residential development in Howth, Co. Dublin, delivering 596 high-end apartments opposite Howth Castle. Despite the logistical challenges of a single access route, over 47,000m³ of concrete was supplied across 5,000 deliveries using a consistent 45N S3 mix with clinker replacement, along with more than 1,000 metres of concrete paving, with the project completed in 2025.

Kilsaran Precast collaborated early with John Paul Construction to deliver a precast cross-wall solution for the Sandyford Central Residential Development, a 564-apartment, six-block scheme completed in 2023 for Richmond Homes. The system incorporated twin and solid walls, precast columns and beams, hollowcore flooring and stairs, with twin walls providing a paint-ready finish and integrated services.

Off-site precast construction accelerated the programme by approximately six months while improving buildability, safety and sustainability. Kilsaran also supplied a range of paving products to deliver a durable, consistent finish across the external area
